Mission:
The Kansas City Area Transportation Authority Board of Commissioners is committed to providing safe, clean, courteous and accessible transportation at an affordable price to all segments of the community in the greater Kansas City area. Additionally, the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority Board of Commissioners is dedicated to promoting and participating in the community to achieve mobility, independence, self-confidence and environmental awareness pertaining to providing quality public transportation.
Function:
The Kansas City Area Transportation Authority Board of Commissioners works in a collaborative spirit to address transit issues to positively impact transit riders and guide the daily operations of the Authority.
