Gov. Nixon appoints Stockton Area Chamber executive director as new public administrator for Cedar County

JEFFERSON CITY - Gov. Jay Nixon has appointed the long-time executive director of the Stockton Area Chamber of Commerce, Charlotte L. Haden, as the new public administrator for Cedar County. The position became vacant after the resignation of Janice Cagle.

Haden, a Democrat, has served as the executive director for the Chamber since 2006 and also held that position from 2001 to 2003. From 2003 to 2005, she was the community bank president at Great Southern Bank. A family farmer, Haden has been on the Stockton school board for the past 12 years.

"As a long-time resident and community leader, Charlotte Haden knows the citizens of Cedar County very well," Gov. Nixon said. "I am confident that knowledge and experience will enable her to capably serve the people of this county in this position of trust and responsibility."
